PTI workers protested on Sunday against emergency and governor's rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dawn reported from Bajaur and Mohmand.
Bajaur
The demonstration was in Inayat Kallay Bazaar. Dawn said workers chanted slogans against the federal government. Activists including Habib Khan and Muhsin Khan condemned the removal of the provincial government. They expressed anger over the arrest of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi and provincial president Junaid Akbar Khan. Dawn reported that anger. It did not quote police or the government confirming those two arrests.
A police team tried to stop the demonstrators. Dawn said that led to harsh words and a scuffle, after which the protesters continued and told police they would stay peaceful.
Dawn also reported that mobile and internet services remained suspended in Bajaur on Sunday, as in other parts of the province.
Mohmand
In Mohmand, PTI workers and residents protested at Mian Mandi Bazaar. Dawn said the demonstration was addressed by MNA Sajid Khan Mohmand, district president Malik Naveed Ahmed Mohmand and other party leaders. They rejected governor's rule and the emergency.
