Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police will deploy an Islamabad police facilitation van service across 18 locations in the federal capital from November 2 to 7, giving residents a short window to complete common police paperwork closer to home or campus.

An ICT Police official said three mobile units—a Police Station on Wheels and two facilitation vans—will move between educational institutions, residential areas and public places. The schedule runs for six days and is meant to bring routine services to citizens’ doorsteps rather than requiring a trip to a fixed station.

Hours and services on offer

The units will operate every day of the schedule from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. According to the official, staff will handle missing reports, police character certificates, learner driving permits, licence renewals and duplicate driving licences.

The two facilitation vans will also issue driving test sheets and other licence-related help. That mix covers both first-time applicants and people who need renewals or replacements without going through a longer counter queue elsewhere.

Where the vans will stop

On Monday, November 2, the Police Station on Wheels will be at Iqra University in H-9, Van-I at Federal Urdu University, and Van-II at FAST University in H-11.

On Tuesday, November 3, the same units will be at COMSATS University on Park Road, the National University of Technology (NUTECH) in I-12, and the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in H-12. Wednesday, November 4, takes them to Government Degree College for Boys at Thanda Pani, International Islamic University in H-10, and Capital University of Science and Technology (CUST) on Islamabad Expressway.

Thursday, November 5, covers National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in H-9/4, International Islamic University in H-10 again, and PWD Market near Patiala Jewellers. Friday, November 6, places the units at Riphah University in I-14, Air Headquarters in E-9, and Rangers Headquarters at Bari Imam. Saturday, November 7, ends the run at Kirpa Village, Benazir Chowk in Tarnol, and DHA Phase 5 Gate 1.

How to get in touch

For further information, citizens can contact the facilitation service in-charge, Sub-Inspector Nazia Rafique, on 0313-6260626. The Police Station on Wheels can be reached on 0313-5235946, Van-I on 0315-5798711, and Van-II on 0300-2322883.

Officials framed the Islamabad police facilitation van rollout as a practical way for students, residents and staff near each stop to finish licence and certificate work during ordinary daytime hours.
