The Auditor-General of Pakistan (the federal office that audits government accounts) has advertised 36 government vacancies for candidates who hold a Balochistan domicile. The posts fall under the 6 percent Balochistan quota and span Basic Pay Scales (BPS) from BPS-01 to BPS-14. Applications are being taken only through the National Jobs Portal, with a deadline of 9 November 2026.

According to the official recruitment notice, the bulk of the intake is for Junior Auditors. Thirty-one of the 36 seats are Junior Auditor posts in BPS-11. The remaining five openings are one Stenotypist (BPS-14), one Staff Car Driver (BPS-04), and three Naib Qasid (BPS-01) positions. The driver and Naib Qasid vacancies are local-based posts for Quetta.

Who can apply and what each post needs

Eligibility depends on the role. For Junior Auditor (BPS-11), applicants need at least a second-class or Grade C bachelor’s degree from a university recognised by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan’s higher-education regulator. Accepted fields include Commerce, Banking and Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, and Information Technology. Candidates must also be computer literate and type at least 30 words per minute. The age band is 18 to 30 years, including five years of general age relaxation stated in the advertisement.

The single Stenotypist (BPS-14) seat is listed under the Balochistan merit quota. Applicants need Intermediate education, basic computer knowledge, shorthand of at least 80 words per minute, and typing of 40 words per minute. The age limit is likewise 18 to 30 years, including the general relaxation noted in the notice.

For the Staff Car Driver (BPS-04) post in Quetta, candidates must have passed primary school, hold a valid driving licence, and understand traffic rules. The age limit is 18 to 35 years, including five years of general age relaxation. The three Naib Qasid (BPS-01) posts in Quetta require a primary-school pass and an age of 18 to 30 years, including general age relaxation.

How to apply on the National Jobs Portal

Interested candidates must apply online through the National Jobs Portal at www.njp.gov.pk. The department has said it will not accept applications submitted directly to its office. Applicants should create an account or log in, search for vacancies advertised by the Auditor-General of Pakistan, select the relevant post, and complete the online form. The notice advises candidates to check qualifications, domicile details, and other entries carefully before submitting.

Education requirements across the drive range from primary school for the Quetta support posts to a bachelor’s degree for Junior Auditors, so jobseekers should match their papers to the specific BPS category before applying.
