The National University of Technology (NUTECH) in Islamabad has opened NUTECH Islamabad admissions for the Fall 2027 academic session, with online registration available for 13 undergraduate programmes. Students can apply for degrees across engineering, computing, technology, business, and environmental science. Those who want to sit the first entrance exam must finish registration by Friday, 25 December 2026.
Which programmes are on offer
According to the university’s admission announcement, the 13 NUTECH undergraduate programs span several fields. Four engineering degrees are listed: BS Civil Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, and BS Computer Engineering. A separate option is BS Civil Engineering Technology.
In computing and related areas, the university is offering BS Computer Science, BS Software Engineering, BS Artificial Intelligence, BS Cyber Security, BS Information Technology, and BS Data Science. The remaining places are BS Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
Entry test and who can apply
NUTECH will hold the NUTECH Entry Test (NUET-1)—its first entrance exam for this intake—on Sunday, 3 January 2027. Completing NUTECH online registration by 25 December 2026 is required to appear in that sitting. The university has not yet published a full calendar of later tests or merit-list dates in the latest advertisement, so applicants should watch the official admissions site for updates.
Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC), A-Level, a Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE), or an equivalent qualification may apply, provided they meet the rules for the degree they choose. General guidelines say applicants should keep SSC or equivalent records, HSSC/A-Level/DAE or equivalent certificates, and a CNIC or B-Form ready. Holders of foreign or international qualifications may also need equivalence papers from the relevant authority. Extra documents can be requested during verification.
How to register online
Interested students apply through the official NUTECH website at www.nutech.edu.pk by opening the undergraduate registration portal in the admissions section. New users create an account with the personal and contact details the system asks for, then fill in academic results, choose a preferred programme, upload supporting files, and follow the steps to pay the processing fee.
The university advises completing the process online and reviewing all details before submission, rather than sending physical forms unless specifically told to do so. Exact document upload rules should be checked on the Fall 2027 admission portal.
