Train operations across Quetta Division have been suspended for one day on Thursday because of technical reasons and necessary repair work, railway officials said.
Which services are affected
Railway officials told the media that the Jaffer Express will not depart for Peshawar on Thursday. The Sariyab-Kachlak Jinnah Peoples Train will also remain off the tracks. Separately, the Jaffer Express travelling toward Quetta from Peshawar will be halted at Jacobabad rather than completing the journey.
Why the stoppage was ordered
Officials linked the Quetta Division train halt to technical problems and repair work that they said had to be carried out. The suspension covers operations across the division for the day, not a single station alone.
What travellers face on Thursday
Anyone planning to use Quetta Division services on Thursday should expect cancelled or interrupted journeys. Passengers booked on the Peshawar-bound Jaffer Express will not leave, while those coming toward Quetta on that train are due to be held at Jacobabad. Travellers who rely on the Sariyab-Kachlak Jinnah Peoples Train will also need other arrangements for the day.
Aasan alfaaz mein
Quetta Division mein trainen aik din ke liye band hain. Technical masail aur repair ke wajah se ye faisla hua hai. Jaffer Express aaj Peshawar nahi jaegi, aur Peshawar se aane wali train Jacobabad par rukegi. Agar aapka safar in trains par tha to doosra bandobast kar lein.
