Meta says expanded Meta AI Ads Manager processing capacity is producing stronger Facebook ad results for advertisers. In a note to advertisers dated 28 October 2026, the company credited upgrades to its ad-ranking systems for higher clicks and conversions, and said those gains continued into the third quarter.

What Meta reported for Q2 and Q3

For the second quarter of 2026, Meta reported that Facebook recorded 8.3% more ad clicks and a 15.7% uplift in conversions. It attributed those figures to improvements in the ad-ranking stack. Meta said third-quarter 2026 figures show the same improvements are still compounding rather than fading after the initial lift.

In Q3 2026, Meta rolled out further changes to Andromeda, described as the first step in ad display. Andromeda now considers a wider range of product matches for each business. Meta said those Andromeda improvements alone drove a 1.4% increase in Facebook conversions.

How the AI stack is changing ad matching

Meta also introduced generative retrieval on the Facebook Feed. That system, the company said, drove nearly a 2% increase in conversions across targeted segments. Separately, Meta’s AI business assistant is reaching more advertisers and, according to Meta, delivers 5% more conversions at the same ad spend—an example of facebook ads ai automation tied to spend efficiency rather than larger budgets.

Three systems sit behind most of the reported lift. Andromeda widens the pool of relevant matches between products and users. The Generative Ads Recommendation Model (GEM) processes more signals to improve ad relevance. GenRecs matches ad engagement with user preferences even for brand-new ads that have little performance history.

Partnership ads and in-chat checkout

Partnership ads had a strong period as well, Meta said: the format grew more than 97% year over year and has surpassed a $15 billion annual revenue run-rate. Meta is also developing checkout options inside its AI agents, including Muse, so users may eventually buy products directly inside AI chat flows.
