Counsel says she is back in custody
Noreen Niazi news centres on her return to custody: her lawyer says Imran Khan’s sister is again at Kot Lakhpat Jail after leaving the Punjab Institute of Cardiology. Counsel Rana Mudassar told reporters she had been moved there when she felt cardiac unease.
He said clinicians ran multiple checks while she remained under hospital care. In his account, authorities then sent her to the prison again before that course of care was finished. He pressed for prompt medical support inside custody and for relatives to be allowed visits.
What her lawyer is asking for
Mudassar framed the hospital episode as unfinished and urged jail authorities to arrange treatment without delay. He also asked that she be permitted to see her family while held at Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore.

High court keeps detention notices in place for now
Separately, the Lahore High Court declined an urgent bid to freeze detention notices against Noreen Niazi and Dr Uzma Khanum, both sisters of the PTI founder. Justice Abhar Gul Khan heard the matter; Rana Mudassar Umar represented the applicants.
Counsel told the bench both women are homemakers and that Dr Uzma Khanum had already been cleared in the underlying case, attaching the trial court’s finding. The judge refused an immediate freeze, saying material must first come from the other parties. Notices went out seeking replies, with any suspension decision deferred until those views are heard.
