TikTok removed 23,243,711 videos in Pakistan between April and June 2026 for breaking its community guidelines, according to the company’s Q2 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report. That is more than 23.2 million clips in three months, with a national video removal rate of 1.1%. Globally, removals in the same period exceeded 188.2 million.

How fast content was taken down

Nearly all Pakistan removals were caught by the platform before users reported them: 99.7% were detected and removed proactively. TikTok said 94.5% of violating videos in the country were taken down within 24 hours of being posted.

Not every takedown stayed final. After further review, TikTok restored 519,075 videos in Pakistan that had first been removed and were then put back up.

What the global figures show

Worldwide, automated systems accounted for 99.5% of video removals in the quarter. The platform said 92.7% of violating videos globally were removed within a day of posting, and it restored 6.26 million videos after a second look.

TikTok also reported cutting fake and underage access on a large scale. In three months it removed 146.8 million fake accounts worldwide and 26.8 million accounts it suspected belonged to children under 13.

Main reasons videos were removed worldwide

The report’s largest global category was sensitive or mature themes, at 19.5% of video removals. Mental and behavioural health content made up 16.1%, followed by body exposure and sexualised behaviour at 13.8%, and dangerous activities and challenges at 13.5%. Edited media and AI-generated content (AIGC)—clips altered or made with artificial intelligence—accounted for 1.8%.

TikTok said the quarterly report summarises its moderation work, including video removals, account action and automated detection. It pointed users to its Transparency Centre, available in Urdu and English, for community guidelines, safety tools and enforcement rules.
