Barry University in the United States is inviting applications for its Stamps Scholars Program 2027, a fully funded undergraduate award open to academically strong students from around the world, including Pakistan. The package supports four years of study and covers tuition, accommodation, meals, books and transportation. Scholars also receive an extra $6,000 enrichment award for study abroad, undergraduate research, cultural exchanges or other approved educational experiences.
What the award covers
The Stamps Scholars Program is a merit-based scheme run by Barry University with the Stamps Scholars Program. Funding runs through the undergraduate years, subject to the university’s annual renewal rules. The $6,000 enrichment sum is meant for structured academic and cultural opportunities beyond routine coursework, not for ordinary living costs already listed in the main package.
Who can apply from Pakistan
Places are for incoming first-year undergraduates joining in the Fall 2027 intake. Candidates need a minimum high school grade point average (GPA) of 3.5, must meet Barry University’s admission standards, and should show leadership and a record of community service—such as school activities, student groups, volunteering or similar roles. Pakistani applicants must also satisfy the university’s academic equivalency rules for their secondary qualifications.
International students must show English readiness for undergraduate entry. Accepted routes include an IELTS score of at least 6.0 (a common English test), TOEFL iBT 61, Duolingo English Test 85, or PTE Academic 44. An official Medium of Instruction letter confirming English-medium schooling may also be considered under the university’s rules. Applicants should confirm that their documents meet those conditions before they apply.
How and when to apply
Students must first win admission as first-year undergraduates through Barry University’s online process and a MyBarry account, submitting transcripts and English evidence where required. Only after admission can they file the separate Stamps Scholars application on MyBarry. That file needs a recommendation letter from a teacher, counsellor, coach, mentor, employer, community leader or similar referee; an updated résumé of academic and leadership work; and a personal video of no more than three minutes on interests, leadership, reasons for choosing Barry University, and planned contributions to campus life. Videos may be hosted on YouTube, ZeeMee, Glimpse or another suitable platform.
The scholarship window opened on 15 September 2026. The last date to apply is 15 December 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Interested students should complete admission steps early enough to finish the scholarship materials before that cut-off.
