How to check your result
BSEK has asked candidates to use official channels only. From 5:30 p.m. on 28 October 2026, results for the first annual Class 9 Science Group exams are available at www.bsek.edu.pk. Parents and students should rely on that site rather than unofficial pages when looking up the Karachi Board 9th Science Result 2026.
Candidate numbers and pass rate
According to the board’s press release issued on 28 October, 180,054 students registered for the exams and 177,923 appeared. Another 2,131 candidates were marked absent.
Controller of Examinations Ahmed Khan Chhutto said 123,757 students passed all six papers. The board reported that 53,849 candidates failed. The overall pass rate of 69.56% matches those who cleared every paper among those who appeared.
Board figures released with the result also list how many candidates cleared fewer papers: 21,999 passed five papers, 11,006 passed four, 7,431 passed three, 4,409 passed two, and 3,101 passed one. Some accounts of the same release give a different split for those partial clears; the registration, attendance, all-six pass, fail, and overall percentage figures above are consistent across the board’s announced totals.
What board officials said
Board Chairman Professor Musharraf Ali Rajput congratulated students who passed and said transparency remained a top priority for the board. The announcement covers regular Class 9 Science Group candidates in the 2026 annual examinations.
