Aisha Steel Mills Ltd has reduced prices on its flat steel products by up to Rs8,000 per ton, according to JS Research, with the new rates effective from 1 November 2026.
Channel checks shared by M. Waqas Ghani, CFA, of JS Research show that cold-rolled coil (CRC) — thin steel sheet used after further processing — has been cut by about Rs6,000 per ton to Rs202,450 per ton. Hot-dip galvanised coil (HDGC) — steel coated with zinc for rust protection — is down Rs8,000 per ton to Rs191,800 per ton.
How large are the reductions
On the new schedule, CRC had been around Rs208,450 per ton, so the move is roughly a 2.9 percent cut. HDGC had been about Rs199,800 per ton, a reduction of around 4 percent. The largest absolute cut in the update is the Rs8,000 per ton drop on galvanised coil.
Aisha Steel is one of Pakistan’s main flat steel producers, and its list prices often influence how other sellers in the wider market set their own offers. A cut of this size therefore matters beyond a single mill’s order book.
Who uses CRC and galvanised coil
CRC feeds into home appliances, car parts, and steel furniture. Galvanised coil goes into roofing sheets, construction materials, and appliance bodies. Those sectors buy steel in bulk, so even a few thousand rupees per ton changes the cost of each production run.
JS Research’s illustration is straightforward: a buyer taking 10 tons of HDGC — for example a roofing-sheet or appliance maker — would save about Rs80,000 on that order. The same 10-ton CRC purchase would cost around Rs60,000 less than before.
Pressure on industry, not an automatic retail cut
Cheaper coil eases pressure on local factories that depend on flat steel as a core input. That does not automatically mean lower sticker prices in shops. Whether households see any relief on appliances, furniture, or roofing depends on manufacturers and distributors choosing to pass on the lower input costs.
For now, the confirmed change is at the mill-gate: Aisha Steel’s CRC and HDGC rates are lower from 1 November 2026, by about Rs6,000 and Rs8,000 per ton respectively, on figures reported through JS Research’s channel checks.
Aasan alfaaz mein
Aisha Steel ne flat steel ke rates kam kar diye hain. Cold-rolled coil lagbhag 6,000 rupay ton sasta ho gaya hai, aur galvanised coil 8,000 rupay. Yeh sasta raw material appliances aur roofing banane wali factories ke liye raahat hai. Agar makers yeh faida aage den, to customers ko thodi sasti cheezen mil sakti hain.
