Quwat Services Private Limited (QSPL) has struck a partnership with JazzSure Insurance to roll out what the companies describe as Pakistan’s first fully embedded insurance protocol across merchant and consumer transaction channels. Cover is meant to attach automatically to payments that run on QSPL’s systems, rather than requiring a separate policy process after the fact.
How the cover is meant to work
Under the arrangement, JazzSure Insurance’s underwriting application programming interfaces (APIs—software links that let systems talk to each other) will sit inside QSPL’s transaction processing setup. The firms say that binds real-time protection to high-speed payment flows on QSPL rails at the moment of interaction.
Two risk types are named. Account takeover covers unauthorised access through phishing, malware or spyware. Unauthorised transactions cover electronic transfers made without the user’s consent. Merchants are promised immediate, automated protection against related operational gaps, while end users are to receive point-of-sale cover without manual policy signup or extra paperwork.
What the companies say
Muhammad Saad Khan, chief executive of Quwat Services Private Limited, tied the move to QSPL’s stated aim of financial inclusion—wider access to digital money services—for Pakistanis, “one transaction at a time.” He said financial inclusion needs “robust risk infrastructure, not just payment rails,” and that embedding automated protection with JazzSure Insurance into every transaction sets a new regional benchmark so participation comes with stronger security.
Imtiaz Ahmed, chief digital officer at JazzSure Insurance, said the work pushes digital insurtech (technology-led insurance) further by plugging JazzSure’s underwriting engines into QSPL’s transaction channels, aiming for seamless, automated risk handling at large scale.
What comes next
Both sides present the alliance as part of a shared push for digital financial services that are more secure, easier to reach and more inclusive. They argue that as more people and shops use digital payments, protection should travel with those payments rather than sit as a separate product people must remember to buy.
Independent detail on launch timing, pricing, claim rules or which merchant categories go live first was not set out in the announcement. Customers and traders will need product terms from QSPL and JazzSure once those are published.
Aasan alfaaz mein
QSPL aur JazzSure ne mil kar payment ke saath insurance jodne ka partnership kiya hai. Har transaction par account hack ya bina ijazat transfer ka protection automatic lagane ka plan hai. Shopkeepers aur customers ko alag se policy banwane ki zarurat nahi batayi gayi. Matlab digital payment use karte waqt security zyada asaan banane ki koshish hai.
