Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan has entered an asset purchase agreement with Procter & Gamble Pakistan (Private) Limited to take over land, a manufacturing facility and related assets at Port Qasim in Karachi. The company said the agreement was signed on October 28, 2026 and notified the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).
What the deal covers
According to the stock exchange filing, Colgate-Palmolive (Pakistan) Limited (COLG) will acquire the Port Qasim site’s land, plant and associated assets from Procter & Gamble Pakistan. The notice said the company was pleased to announce that it had entered the agreement on that date.
The filing does not set out a purchase price or say when production at the site would change hands. Those details remain outside what the company has disclosed so far.
CCP approval still required
The transaction is not final. Colgate-Palmolive Pakistan said completion is subject to approval from the Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP), the country’s competition regulator. Until that clearance is granted, the deal cannot close.
The company said the disclosure was made under Sections 96 and 131 of the Securities Act, 2015, and Clause 5.6.1(a) of PSX Regulations, and asked the exchange to inform TRE Certificate Holders.
