PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has rejected all claims made by Barrister Saif in an interview, sharpening a PTI internal rift over how the party has handled access to its founder.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Barrister Gohar said Barrister Saif's claims were false and that he rejects them in full. The remarks put two senior party voices at odds in public and leave supporters weighing competing accounts.
Gohar dismisses Saif's interview remarks
Barrister Gohar told reporters that he rejects every assertion Barrister Saif advanced during the interview. He did not treat the dispute as a narrow wording issue. His position was that the claims as a whole do not stand.
The Peshawar comments mark a clear rebuttal rather than a quiet correction. For a party already under pressure, Barrister Gohar rejects Saif's framing in open view of the media.
Dispute over meeting the party founder
One point Gohar singled out as baseless was Barrister Saif's claim that, despite an offer, he had not met the PTI founder. Gohar said the party had made every possible effort to secure that meeting.
He said those efforts included approaches through the courts and through negotiations. Even so, he said, permission for a single meeting was never granted. Access to the founder, he added, was also one of the party's conditions during the negotiation process.
That clash of accounts—whether a meeting was available and whether it was sought—sits at the centre of the latest PTI internal rift.
What remains unsettled
Gohar did not spell out each claim from the interview line by line. He made clear, however, that he rejects them all. Until the party settles who sought access to the founder and what blocked it, the PTI internal rift over Saif's remarks is likely to keep drawing attention from workers and voters alike.
