Qatar is offering free tourist visas on arrival to Pakistani passport holders, allowing eligible travellers to stay for up to 30 days if they meet set conditions.

Qatar’s Ministry of Interior said the same facility is also open to citizens of India and Thailand. The free visa is granted on arrival only to travellers who satisfy all listed requirements; those who cannot produce the needed documents may be refused the facility.

Who qualifies and what you must bring

Pakistani applicants must hold a passport that remains valid for at least three months. They also need a confirmed round-trip ticket and health insurance issued by an accredited insurance company.

A fourth condition is a confirmed hotel reservation made only through the official Discover Qatar website. Bookings arranged on other sites will not be accepted for this visa. The Interior Ministry’s rules treat all four requirements as mandatory for the free on-arrival option.

How long you can stay

The length of the visa depends on the traveller’s hotel reservation. The maximum stay under the arrangement is 30 days. In practice, the booking period on Discover Qatar sets how long the free tourist visa covers, up to that ceiling.

How this fits Qatar’s other visa rules

Officials described the arrangement as separate from Qatar’s other visa-free entry and tourist visa programmes. Travellers should not assume that meeting rules for a different Qatar visa automatically qualifies them for this free on-arrival option for Pakistanis, or the reverse.

Anyone planning a trip should prepare the passport, tickets, insurance papers, and Discover Qatar hotel confirmation before travel, since incomplete paperwork can block access to the free visa at the border.

Aasan alfaaz mein

Qatar ne Pakistani passport walon ko arrival par mufat tourist visa dena shuru kiya hai. Yeh visa zyada se zyada 30 din ka ho sakta hai, lekin hotel booking Discover Qatar ki website se honi zaroori hai. Passport teen mahine valid ho, round-trip ticket aur approved health insurance bhi chahiye. Agar yeh cheezen na hon to mufat visa nahi mil sakta.
