The Punjab government has opened 28 vacancies under its Shrimp Aquaculture Project, with monthly salary packages from Rs40,000 to Rs200,000. The posts cover technical, administrative, operational and support roles for two shrimp farming development projects based in Muzaffargarh and Sargodha.
Recruitment is on a contract basis under Project Pay Scales (PPS)—government project pay grades—and lump-sum arrangements. Only candidates holding a Punjab domicile can apply, and applications must go through the Punjab Job Portal.
Roles and pay on offer
Staff are being sought across 13 job categories. The top package is Rs200,000 a month for one Accounts and Operations Supervisor post. A Trade Compliance Assistant and two Sub Engineer Electrical posts each carry Rs75,000 a month. One Drone Operator role is listed at Rs55,000.
Several operational posts pay Rs50,000 a month: tractor operators (two under PPS-2 and two on lump sum), two tubewell technicians, two plumbers, and eight chauffeurs (four lump sum and four under PPS-2). Lower-paid support roles at Rs40,000 include one horticulture worker, two lab helpers, three office boys and one janitor.

Eligibility differs by post. The Accounts and Operations Supervisor needs a B.Com degree with the relevant certification, plus 10 years’ experience in team development, leadership and distribution or logistics. The Trade Compliance Assistant requires a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a diploma in international import and export. Sub Engineer Electrical applicants need technical education in electrical engineering or electrical technology.
