FIA Immigration has arrested two passengers at Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore who tried to leave the country on fake Dutch visas. Officials said the men were bound for the Netherlands on Qatar Airways flight QR-629 when immigration checks found forged visit visas stamped in their passports.

The passengers were identified as Qaiser Munir, son of Munir Ahmed, and Ali Hassan, son of Manzoor Ahmed. FIA Immigration Lahore offloaded them from the flight and later handed them to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, Lahore, for further investigation and legal proceedings.

How the visas were checked

During routine immigration scrutiny, the Netherlands visit visas on both passports were found to be fake. That discovery stopped the journey before departure and triggered a wider inquiry into how the documents were obtained.

Gujrat agent and the Rs40 lakh deal

Initial investigation, according to FIA Immigration, pointed to a Gujrat-based agent named Chaudhry Adnan Akmal. The two passengers had allegedly settled a deal with him for fake Dutch visas at Rs40 lakh each. Of that sum, each man had already transferred Rs20 lakh as an advance into the agent’s bank account. Evidence of the money transfer was also recovered from one passenger’s mobile phone.

The case now sits with the anti-human trafficking circle, which typically examines forged travel documents alongside illegal migration and human smuggling networks. FIA Immigration Lahore said operations against agents involved in fake visas, illegal migration and human smuggling will continue.

Why officials say this matters

FIA Immigration Lahore warned that such networks hurt Pakistan’s international standing and create hurdles for genuine travellers. Forged visas and illegal departure attempts can tighten scrutiny for everyone else at departure halls and delay people who hold valid papers.

Aasan alfaaz mein

Lahore airport par FIA ne do musafiron ko pakra hai. Un ke paas Netherlands ke jaali visit visa thay. Unhon ne Gujrat ke agent se har ek ke liye 40 lakh rupay ka deal kiya tha, jis mein 20-20 lakh advance diya gaya. Aisi jaali visa ki wajah se asli musafiron ko bhi airport par mushkilat ho sakti hai.
