CBD Punjab Saudi investors and urban planners met in Lahore at the three-day Saudi-Pak Real Estate Expo (SPREX) 2026, where the Punjab Central Business District Development Authority—also known as CBD Punjab—and the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) presented landmark projects, investment openings and future city plans. The two bodies shared a joint pavilion aimed at commercial destinations, modern infrastructure and planned urban growth in Punjab.
Who opened the expo and who visited
Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan inaugurated the event, which drew Pakistani and Saudi dignitaries, investors and business representatives. Among those present were Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Dr Rajeh Tami Al-Baqami, Chairman of the Saudi Pak Business Council H.H. Prince Mansour bin Mohammad Al-Saud, and Dr Gohar Ijaz, a member of the council’s Pakistan chapter.
Distinguished guests toured the CBD Punjab–RUDA pavilion. CEO of CBD Punjab and RUDA Imran Amin introduced both teams and outlined flagship schemes, progress so far, strategic planning and investment prospects. Waseem Siddiq, Director Marketing at CBD Punjab, and Sheheryar Rana, Director Sales and Marketing at RUDA, walked visitors through project features and openings and spoke with Saudi and other international business guests.
What the joint pavilion offered
Organisers said the pavilion stayed busy across all three days. Visitors could review each authority’s development portfolio, planning approach and possible areas of partnership in real estate, infrastructure, commercial development and longer-term urban design. For CBD Punjab Saudi investors, the shared stand was framed as a single window on complementary commercial and riverside urban schemes in the province.
Officials’ message after the expo
Imran Amin said participation gave “an important platform to showcase Punjab’s landmark development projects and investment potential to the Saudi business community.” He added that CBD Punjab and RUDA are pursuing “complementary visions for modern infrastructure, planned urban growth and commercially vibrant destinations,” and that investor interest could deepen Pakistan–Saudi cooperation and longer-term partnerships for growth.
SPREX 2026 closed on Friday, 23 October, after three days of exhibitions, networking and investment talks meant to widen business ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. Both authorities cast the outing as part of a wider push to put Punjab’s development offer before international capital.
