The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), Pakistan’s fuel pricing regulator, on Monday announced lower petrol diesel rates in Pakistan today that apply from November 3, 2026. Petrol (motor spirit) is cut by Rs3.40 a litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs7.76 a litre, according to an OGRA press release.
New ex-depot prices
The ex-depot price of petrol moves from Rs377.91 to Rs374.51 a litre. High-speed diesel falls from Rs402.96 to Rs395.20 a litre. Ex-depot prices are the regulated base rates before local freight and dealer margins; pump prices in most cities usually move in line with these revisions.
How OGRA set the revision
OGRA said the new petrol diesel rates in Pakistan today were determined under the federal government’s petroleum products pricing mechanism. The regulator linked the change to global developments, including shifts in Platts rates — international oil price references used in the formula — as well as premiums and incidentals.
When the cuts take effect
The revised prices come into force on November 3, 2026. Drivers and commercial operators filling up on or after that date should see the lower rates once oil marketing companies update pumps.
