The United States remained the largest buyer of Pakistani products in the first quarter of fiscal year 2026-27, followed by China and the United Kingdom, according to data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the country’s central bank.

Shipments to the US totalled $1.716 billion in July–September, compared with $1.643 billion in the same quarter a year earlier—a rise of 4.44 per cent. That kept the US ahead of every other destination for Pakistani exports in the period under review.

China and the UK hold the next two spots

China was the second-largest market. Pakistan sold goods worth $663.567 million there, against $562.560 million a year earlier—an increase of 17.95 per cent, the steepest gain among the top three.

The UK ranked third. Exports to Britain stood at $612.305 million, up from $574.171 million in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, the SBP figures showed.

Other markets: gains in the Gulf, mixed results in Europe

Among other destinations, exports to the United Arab Emirates reached $572.624 million, compared with $492.167 million a year earlier. Sales to Saudi Arabia were $168.188 million, against $160.304 million previously. Exports to Turkiye rose to $57.712 million from $47.582 million, and those to Sweden climbed to $72.189 million from $46.259 million.

Several European markets moved the other way. Germany took $389.116 million of Pakistani goods, down from $446.100 million. Holland received $370.005 million against $381.752 million; Italy $298.731 million against $326.460 million; Spain $154.244 million against $383.122 million; France $136.030 million against $136.686 million; and Belgium $127.431 million against $137.871 million.

Exports to Bangladesh were $174.776 million, slightly below $180.114 million a year earlier.

What the quarter shows

Taken together, the SBP data portray a familiar ranking at the top—US, China, UK—alongside stronger demand in parts of the Gulf and Turkiye, and softer receipts from several EU markets, notably Spain. The figures cover July–September of fiscal year 2026-27 and are country totals for goods exports as reported by the central bank; they do not break out product categories in the material reviewed here.

Aasan alfaaz mein

Pehli teen mahine mein America phir se Pakistan ki sab se bari export market raha. China aur Britain us ke baad aaye, aur China ki taraf bheji gayi maal mein qareeban 18% izafa hua. Kuch Europe ke mulkon mein demand kam dikhai di, khas tor par Spain mein. In figures se pata chalta hai ke dollar kamane wale markets kahan zor pakar rahe hain aur kahan dhila pad raha hai.
