The Cabinet Division has released the Toshakhana list of gifts received by senior Pakistani officials between July and September 2026. The public record covers President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja and other federal figures. Toshakhana is the government’s repository for presents given to office-holders in their official capacity.
What the latest disclosure covers
The July–September Toshakhana list ranges from luxury wristwatches to everyday hospitality gifts. Brands named in the records include Rolex, Patek Philippe and Hublot. Other categories include jewellery, cufflinks, pens, rings, prayer beads (tasbeeh), carpets, perfume, dates, religious models and souvenirs, and decorative pieces.
Officials are ranked by how many entries appear against their names for the quarter. The disclosure does not, in the material available, assign cash values to each item or name every foreign or domestic giver.
Who received the most gifts
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif tops the Toshakhana list with 34 gifts. His entries include three Rolex watches and one Patek Philippe watch, plus religious models and cloth related to the Kaaba and Masjid-e-Nabvi, carpets of various sizes, cufflinks, pens, rings, tasbeehs, Zam Zam water, dates, perfume including oud, a dagger with a silver case, and decorative and framed items.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar follows with 25 gifts. His list includes three Rolex watches and one Patek Philippe Nautilus, along with carpets, models of religious sites, perfume, dates, cufflinks, pens, rings and tasbeehs.
IT Minister Shaza Fatima Khawaja has eight recorded gifts: two Rolex Lady Datejust watches, two jewellery sets, two boxes of dates and two boxes of perfume. President Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Syed Naveed Qamar and Rana Tanveer Hussain each have seven entries. The president’s set includes a Hublot watch with cufflinks, a pen, a ring, a tasbeeh, dates and perfume. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Syed Naveed Qamar are each listed with a Rolex Datejust and similar accessory and hospitality items; Rana Tanveer Hussain’s seven include a Rolex Day-Date watch and the same pattern of cufflinks, pen, ring, tasbeeh, dates and perfume.
Why the list matters
Periodic publication of the Toshakhana list lets the public see what senior office-holders formally received over a set period. This quarter’s record shows both high-value watch brands and simpler items such as dates and perfume sitting side by side on the same official ledger. Further quarterly releases would extend that trail; this disclosure is limited to July through September 2026.
