The Lahore High Court has allowed a Noreen Niazi daughters meeting for the next day, clearing a visit by her two daughters. In the same matter, the court summoned the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Lahore—the district’s top civilian administrator—to appear in a personal capacity on 4 November and also asked for a reply on the detention petition.

Court clears visit by two daughters

The bench granted the two daughters permission to meet Noreen Niazi on the day after the hearing. The Noreen Niazi daughters meeting order sits inside a wider plea on the detention of Imran Khan’s sisters and on how meetings with them are handled while that detention remains in place.

Noreen Niazi is among the sisters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan. The court did not, in the order as described, name the daughters or set out visit timings beyond allowing the next-day meeting.

DC Lahore summoned for 4 November

Besides clearing the visit, the court directed the DC Lahore to appear personally on 4 November. That step ties the local administration directly into the Noreen Niazi case on detention, rather than leaving the response to written filings alone.

The court also sought an answer to the detention petition itself. That reply will sit alongside the personal appearance when the matter returns.

Court ne 4 November ko DC Lahore ko zaati tor par bulaya hai aur nazar bandi ki darkhwast ka jawab bhi manga hai. Family ke liye seedha matlab yeh hai ke court-ke zariye mulaqaat ka raasta khula, aur administration ko court ke saamne jawab dena hoga.
