Lahore-based digital lending platform AdalFi is preparing an AdalFi IPO next month, saying it wants to raise as much as 652 million rupees ($2.35 million) by issuing new shares. The company said the money would help it expand Islamic and small-business loan services, and that the listing would make it the first fintech on the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the country’s main market for publicly traded shares.

How much AdalFi aims to raise

In a statement, AdalFi said it is looking to raise up to Rs652 million through the sale of new shares. An initial public offering, or IPO, is when a privately held company first offers its shares to the public so investors can buy a stake and the firm can raise capital. The planned fundraising is tied to growth of its lending products rather than to a sale of existing owners’ stakes alone, according to the company.

First fintech listing on the PSX

AdalFi said the move would make it the first financial-technology, or fintech, firm to list on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Fintech companies use software and digital channels to deliver financial services such as loans. The firm also said it would be among the few startups—young, growth-focused companies—to list on the exchange, a step that is still uncommon in Pakistan’s equity market.

What AdalFi says it will do next

The platform is based in Lahore and focuses on digital lending. It said the AdalFi IPO proceeds would support expansion of Islamic financing—credit structured to meet Shariah rules—and loans aimed at small businesses. Timing was described only as next month; the company has not, in the available statement, set a precise listing date, share price, or final issue size beyond the upper target of Rs652 million.

Investors and customers will watch how the offer is priced and whether the listing goes ahead as planned. Until shares begin trading, ordinary borrowers will not see an automatic change in loan terms; any wider access to credit would depend on how the firm deploys the new capital after the raise.

Aasan alfaaz mein

Lahore ki company AdalFi agle mahine stock market mein shares bechne wali hai. Woh zyada se zyada 65 crore 20 lakh rupay tak jama karna chahti hai. Ye paise Islamic aur chhotay business ke loans barhane ke liye istemal honge. Agar listing ho jaye to ye PSX par list hone wali pehli fintech company ban sakti hai.
