The gold rate in Pakistan today is Rs420,536 per tola for 24-carat gold, after a sharp Rs5,100 fall on Friday, according to rates issued by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the trade body that publishes local sarafa rates. The drop tracked a weaker international market, where gold fell $51 to $3,980 per ounce and moved back below the $4,000 level.
Local 24-carat and 22-karat rates
APGJSA also listed 10 grams of 24-carat gold at Rs360,541, down Rs4,373 on the day. Ten grams of 22-karat gold was priced at Rs330,507 after a decline of Rs4,009. Those figures give buyers a clear gold rate in Pakistan today for both the traditional tola measure and the 10-gram unit used in many jewellery quotes.
Thursday’s 24-carat tola rate had held steady at Rs425,636. Friday’s cut therefore wiped out that level in a single session and left the metal Rs21,500 below its Oct 10 peak of Rs442,036 per tola.
Global gold and silver moves
The association reported that the international price of gold decreased by $51 to $3,980 per ounce. That slip took the ounce rate back under $4,000 after it had held above that mark since Wednesday. Local prices followed the same direction rather than moving against the global trend.
Silver also cheapened. The local silver rate fell by Rs238 per tola to Rs5,530. Ten grams of 24-carat silver declined by Rs204 to Rs4,741. On the world market, silver fell by $2.38 to $50.52 per ounce, the association added.

Aasan alfaaz mein
Pakistan mein aaj 24-carat sone ka rate ek tola Rs420,536 ho gaya hai. Ye kal se Rs5,100 kam hai. Duniya bhar mein sone ki qeemat bhi giri, is liye local rate neeche aaya. Jo log sona khareedna chahte hain, un ke liye aaj pehle se sasta mil sakta hai—lekin rate roz badal sakta hai.
Shoppers comparing the gold rate in Pakistan today with mid-October levels will still find prices high versus the Oct 10 peak, even after Friday’s decline. Anyone pricing jewellery should confirm the same day’s APGJSA board rate and making charges with their jeweller, since published sarafa rates and final retail tickets can differ.
