Avicenna Medical College has invited applications for four undergraduate pathways in nursing and allied health at its Lahore campus. Intake runs through the Avicenna Institute of Allied Health Sciences and Gulfreen Nursing College. The advertised closing day for forms is 15 November 2026.
Candidates choose among Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), a BS (Hons) in Medical Imaging Technology (MIT), a BS (Hons) in Human Nutrition and Dietetics (HND), and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). The first three sit under the allied health institute; nursing sits with Gulfreen Nursing College.
Marks and course length
For DPT, MIT and HND, the college asks for at least 60% in FSc Pre-Medical. DPT is structured over five years. MIT and HND each span four years.
BS Nursing follows a four-year plan. The bar is lower on grades—50% in FSc Pre-Medical, with Biology among the subjects—but the notice sets an age band of 14 to 35 for those applicants.
Scholarships and gaps in the advert
Merit awards of up to 50% are listed for students entering the allied health trio: DPT, imaging technology and nutrition. The notice does not spell out how merit is ranked, which fee lines the award reduces, or whether nursing students can claim the same relief. Anyone weighing cost should ask the admissions office before relying on a discount.
