The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi — the public board that runs Matric and Intermediate exams in the Rawalpindi division — has completed administrative, security and logistical preparations for the Intermediate 2nd Annual Examination 2026. BISE Rawalpindi Inter 2nd Annual Exams will begin across the division on Tuesday, November 3, board spokesperson Arslan Ali Cheema said.
Roll number slips have been issued to all eligible candidates, and invigilation staff have been posted at 41 designated examination centres in the division’s six districts, he said.
Centres across six districts
The centre map covers the whole division. Rawalpindi district has 17 centres, Attock seven, Jhelum five, Chakwal four, Murree two and Talagang three. Gender-wise, 11 centres are for male candidates, 12 for female candidates, and 17 are combined centres open to both.
Students should treat the centre printed on the roll number slip as final and allow extra time for travel, especially where centres are fewer, such as Murree and Talagang.
Command centre and field checks
At a high-level review meeting with Controller of Examinations Mubasher Saeed and Board Secretary Zualkeef Umar Shah, BISE Chairman Prof. Dr. Iqbal Mahmood said the exams are being held strictly in line with directives from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Provincial Minister for Education Rana Sikandar Hayat.
He said CCTV cameras have been installed at all centres. Hard and gray examination points — centres under tighter watch — are linked directly to the board’s central Command and Control Center for real-time online monitoring.
Mubasher Saeed told the meeting that mobile inspectors, District Vigilance Committees and specialised inspection units will stay active in the field. They will carry out daily surprise checks and send daily monitoring reports to the board office.
Zualkeef Umar Shah said dedicated secure transport plans are in place to deliver question papers to designated bank vaults and to return answer-sheet bundles to board headquarters each day.
What candidates should know
With the BISE Rawalpindi exam schedule opening on November 3, candidates need their roll number slip, a clear plan to reach their allotted centre, and awareness that monitoring will be continuous. Parents and colleges can expect tighter gate control and routine inspection visits while BISE Rawalpindi Inter 2nd Annual Exams are under way.
