Closure on the Faizpur–Jaranwala stretch
In the latest M3 Motorway fog update today, the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Central Region has closed the M3 between Faizpur and Jaranwala because of dense fog. Fog regularly forces closures on motorway sections across Punjab in winter. Earlier this year, five major motorways were closed because of fog. In December 2024, parts of the M2, M3 and M4 were also shut for the same reason.
