The Punjab Medical Faculty has opened admissions for 17 two-year paramedical diploma courses at government medical training institutions across Punjab for the 2026–28 academic session. Eligible candidates apply through the faculty’s online admission system and must submit applications by 20 November 2026.
According to the official admission notice, the Punjab Medical Faculty has also set out eligibility rules, the application fee, merit requirements and the admission procedure for the new session. Seats and course choices depend on eligibility and availability at each institute.
Who can apply
Applicants need Matriculation with Science, including Physics, Chemistry and Biology. They must have at least a second division overall and a combined score of at least 45% in those three science subjects.
The notice does not set an upper age limit, so eligible candidates of different ages may apply. A 2% quota is reserved for candidates with disabilities, subject to the conditions in the notice.
Courses on offer
All 17 programmes run for two years. Options include Dispenser Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, Operation Theatre Technician, Radiography and Imaging Technician, and Public Health Technician.
Dental pathways cover Dental Technician, Dental Hygienist and Dental Surgery Assistant. Other tracks include Dialysis Technician, Ophthalmic Technician, Physiotherapy Technician, Anesthesia Technician, Central Sterilization Technician, Pharmacy Assistant, Dispensing Opticianry, Cardiac Technician and Endoscopy Technician.
Candidates can choose preferred courses and institutions online, subject to the rules and the seats available.
