Class IX results out in Shaheed Benazirabad
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Shaheed Benazirabad has announced the results of its Annual Examinations 2026 for Class IX Science and General Groups. The release was made with the approval of Chairman Dr Asif Ali Memon and Controller of Examinations Shah Muhammad Farooq Rashdi. Candidates can view their outcomes on the board’s official website and Android application.
BISE Shaheed Benazirabad said 52,260 candidates had registered for the Science Group, of whom 51,546 appeared. A total of 41,425 were declared successful, for an overall pass percentage of 79.02 percent.
Science and General Group numbers
According to the board, 41,425 Science candidates passed all subjects. Further subject-wise tallies show 4,353 passed six subjects, 1,517 passed five, 1,380 passed four, 704 passed three, 342 passed two, and 286 passed only one subject.
The General Group was far smaller. Fifty candidates registered and all 50 appeared. Twenty-six were declared successful, for an overall pass percentage of 52 percent. The board reported that 10 candidates passed six subjects, two passed five, four passed four, one passed three, and one passed two subjects.
New grading rule for Part-I
BISE Shaheed Benazirabad said a new grading system applies to Class IX (Part-I) annual examinations this year, following a decision of the Sindh government’s Universities and Boards Department. Under that system, anyone scoring less than 40 percent marks in a paper is declared “Ungraded” and is not treated as successful in that paper.
Board officials said students can check results at www.bisesba.edu.pk and through the board’s Android app. Families waiting on Class IX outcomes in and around Nawabshah now have both the pass figures and the new mark threshold to weigh as they plan the next stage of secondary study.
