Lahore traffic police have opened legal proceedings against motorists who still owe digital traffic fines, making an e-challan Lahore check more urgent for anyone with an unpaid notice. Officials said drivers who ignore payment notices for 10 days will receive court summons, and wardens are supporting judicial authorities at courts across the city to recover the money.

What happens after 10 days

Under the existing procedure, a traffic fine doubles if it is not paid within 10 days. Unpaid challans are then sent to the courts for further action. Officials said anyone who still fails to clear the outstanding amount after receiving notices will face legal steps.

The tougher penalties have left some motorists reluctant to collect papers that were seized and held at court. Police say the aim is both to recover unpaid fines and to strengthen compliance with Lahore’s digital traffic enforcement system.

Scale of unpaid e-challans in Lahore

The backlog of pending digital challans and documents seized over non-payment has approached 800,000, underlining how widespread outstanding violations remain. Officials said some drivers have sought duplicate identity cards and driving licences instead of paying the higher fines and reclaiming their original documents.

Lahore traffic police have asked motorists to settle outstanding e-challans and collect seized documents by following the prescribed legal route. An e-challan Lahore check of any open fine, followed by timely e challan Lahore payment, is the path they are pushing before summons are issued.

Aasan alfaaz mein

Lahore mein jo log digital traffic challan ada nahi karte, un ke khilaf ab adalati karwai shuru ho rahi hai. Notice ke baad 10 din tak payment na ho to fine double ho jata hai aur court summons aa sakti hai. Lagbhag 800,000 unpaid e-challan aur qabza documents ka hisab batata hai ke masla bohot bara hai. Agar aap ka challan pending hai to jaldi ada karein aur asli documents qanooni tareeqe se wapas lein.
