Belgian DJ and producer Lost Frequencies has officially remixed Pakistani song Majboor, the 2025 pop track by Sheheryar Rehan and Zoha Waseem that has already passed 250 million streams and found listeners well beyond Pakistan.

The remix brings a dance-floor electronic sound to a song that has featured on Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music charts and entered Spotify’s Global Viral Top 50, with audiences in Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates.

How the remix came together

The collaboration did not start in a studio announcement. Lost Frequencies began playing his take on Majboor during live performances, then shared a clip of one of those shows on Instagram. That path led to an official remix release aimed at international listeners.

“There’s something timeless about Majboor,” Lost Frequencies said. “I loved blending those beautiful melodies with my own sound and bringing it to the dance floor.”

The original track and its makers

Sheheryar Rehan wrote and composed the original. Zoha Waseem’s ghazal-influenced vocals sit over a contemporary Pakistani pop arrangement. Sheheryar said the song’s international path had been hard to predict, and that the remix kept the emotion of the original while offering a fresh musical angle and new audiences.

Xulfi, co-founder and chief operating officer of Giraffe Music, which is linked to the project, said music can carry stories farther than artists might expect. He pointed to Lost Frequencies performing Majboor in India as one sign of how such collaborations can widen the reach of Pakistani music.

A Belgian hitmaker steps in

Lost Frequencies, whose real name is Félix De Laet, became widely known with Are You With Me, which topped charts in 18 countries and made him the first Belgian artist to reach number one in the UK. His work on Majboor sits in that same habit of taking an existing melody into club and streaming spaces.

Together, the stream count, chart runs and the official remix show how live sets and platforms can move a South Asian hit into new markets without losing the feeling that first drew local listeners.

Aasan alfaaz mein

Pakistani song Majboor bohot zyada suni ja rahi hai — 250 million se zyada streams ho chuki hain. Ab Belgian DJ Lost Frequencies ne iska remix bhi nikal diya hai. Gana Sheheryar Rehan aur Zoha Waseem ka hai, jo 2025 mein aaya tha. Matlab yeh track ab dance floors aur naye mulkon ke listeners tak bhi pahunch raha hai.
