Jazz telecom complaints in Pakistan stood at 3,005 in September 2026, the highest volume among cellular operators tracked by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the sector regulator. Telenor followed with 1,325 complaints, Zong with 1,309 and Ufone with 985. Across the industry, the PTA received 7,400 complaints and resolved 7,071, a closure rate of 95.55%.

How operators compared on volume and closure

Of the full September basket, 6,658 complaints targeted cellular mobile operators, by far the largest share. The regulator cleared 6,434 of those cases, for a mobile-network resolution rate of 96.65%.

Jazz closed 2,915 of its 3,005 complaints, a 97% resolution rate and the strongest among the four operators on that measure. Telenor settled 1,282 of 1,325 cases (96.75%). Zong wrapped up 1,263 of 1,309 (96.59%). Ufone closed 943 of 985 (95.74%).

High Jazz telecom complaints in Pakistan therefore sat alongside a relatively fast closure rate for that operator’s own caseload, even as it led the volume chart.

Fixed-line and broadband lagged behind

Outside the cellular segment, resolution was slower. Basic telephony services drew 131 complaints, of which 111 were closed, for an 84.73% rate. Internet service providers received 611 complaints and resolved 525, or 85.92%.

That left a gap of more than 10 percentage points between mobile and broadband closure rates. For households that rely on fixed broadband for work or study, a pending complaint can mean longer waits for a working connection than a typical mobile SIM issue.

What the PTA has said so far

The PTA has not yet released a sector-wide action plan tied to the September figures. It continues to publish monthly tallies, keeping operators under scrutiny on both complaint volumes and how quickly cases close.

Subscribers with unresolved problems can still lodge fresh complaints through the PTA’s online portal and by calling short code 0800-55055.
